Welcome Address from Chairs of Conference

The symposium scopes cover many aspects of frontier materials, including energy materials, enviromental materials, smart materials, quantum materials and advanced materials characterisations. This conference aims to provide a platform for presenting, discussing and exchanging the latest advances, progresses, advanced technologies and new research development in the area of frontier materials. This small scale 1 day symposium is particularly organized to host Prof Yi Cui’s (Stanford University, USA) visit to University of Technology Sydney (UTS) as a distinguished visiting scholar awarded by the UTS DVCR. Prof. Yi Cui is a world-renowned scientist in the area of nanoscience and nanotechnology, functional materials, and battery technology. Currently, he serves as an associate editor for Nano Letters. Prof. Cui has been selected as ISI Highly Cited Researcher in Materials Science, Chemistry and Physics. He has an h-index of 186 and a total citation of more than 155,500 (Google Scholar).
