Welcome Address from Chairs of Conference

Welcome to the official website of the 2019 International Conference on Electrochemical Energy that will be held on August 04-08, 2019, at University of Technology Sydney, in Sydney, Australia.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to this important global conference, which is being co-hosted by University of Technology Sydney, Rail Manufacturing CRC together with the Government of Australia in the Mercure Hotel in the centre of Sydney.

I am very encouraged to see so many high-level experts in Advances in Electrochemical, Material, Chemical and Engineering representatives from around the world gathered here, thank you and welcome to Sydney!

Nowadays, 3 of the 15 Global Challenges are:
How can sustainable development be achieved for all while addressing global climate change?
How can population growth and resources be brought into balance?
How can growing energy demands be met safely and efficiently?

Global warming and climate change represent major challenges facing humanity. It is crucial that we are able to make the right choices on energy. The adaption of renewable energies will play a pivotal role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

This Conference is organised for the purpose of reviewing the research and development activities of renewable energy. The focus is on the creation of technology networks and technical road maps that will serve as foundations for the development of renewable energy technologies. Scientists, engineers and students from academia, government and industries are welcome to participate in this Conference. The major objective of the Conference is to promote interstate and international collaborations in the area of renewable energy technologies.

I want to thank you for your time and attention. It really is an honor to be with all of you and I do appreciate your feedback as we, at The Centre for Clean Energy Technology UTS, continue to explore new opportunities and new things to create. I also would like to thank our sponsors: Neware Technology Limited, Bio-Logic Science Instrument and International Society of Electrochemistry for their kind sponsorship.

I would like to thank all participants for their efforts in making this Conference successful.

Wish you have a great time in Sydney!
